Iowa State’s Takle Addresses USDA on Climate Change and Its Effects on Agriculture

Gene Takle of Iowa State will be giving a seminar addressing the relevance of climate change to agriculture. Takle will discuss regional climate change’s effects on harvesting and planting crops, types of machinery to invest in, pollination, and other key issues. Takle said there is good reason to understand climate change: “Based on climate models,” he said, “climate scientists overwhelmingly agree that the future will be more extreme than today.”
