ISU Architecture Professor Pursues Groundbreaking Work on Energy and Buildings

Professor Ulrike Passe and a team of graduate students are purusing cutting-edge research, studying energy efficiency, renewable energy, and zero-energy buildings. Passe and her team are in the midst of a 5-year, $20 million NSF study, along with connected teams at the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa. The building science group at ISU is currently using the Interlock house and other resources to help quantify the full benefits of energy-efficient buildings.
