Ulrike Passe, associate professor of architecture and director of the ISU Center for Building Energy Research, collaborated with Baskar Ganapathysubramanian, professor of mechanical engineering; Fei Xu (PhD 2018 Mechanical Engineering), now a research and development engineer at Ansys Inc.; and Songzhe Xu (BS 2012 / PhD 2018 Mechanical Engineering), now a postdoc at the University of Utah, on a recent paper published in the international journal Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments.

Ulrike Passe, associate professor of architecture and director of the ISU Center for Building Energy Research, was selected to serve a six-year term on the PLEA (Passive and Low Energy Architecture) board of directors, beginning in March. The nonprofit organization engages in a global discourse on sustainable and urban design through annual international conferences, workshops and publications.

CBER's research team is happy to introduce Manon Geraudin, 5th year student of civil engineering and urban planning at INSA (Institute National des Sciences Appliquees) Lyon, in France. She joined us at the end of October 2019 and will stay till the second half of March 2020. Her research expertise in Building and high environmental quality make her a prefect fit for our team.
